Upgrades to offices, labs, and meeting rooms
Protecting Californians and California from toxic substances, the Department of Toxic Substances Control worked with MEP California Engineering to upgrade two floors of their existing building. Built in 1987, their existing building required changes to the lighting and mechanical systems while minimizing the impact on the building. Working within the constraints of the State of California requirements, design and construction was completed in nine months. The project was divided so that each floor could be fully operational during the entire process.
